February 17, 2008 “The 2nd annual Swedish Cruise-In”. The Puget Sound Volvo Sports America chapter will again host the 2nd annual “Swedish Cruise-In” meet, 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM Sunday, President’s weekend at the 1930 original Pacific Northwest XXX Root Beer Drive-In in Issaquah, Washington. Volvo and Saab Clubs will meet again for a fun day and the “People’s Choice” awards for the “Best Swedish Iron” for both Volvo and Saab cars showing that day. Last years attendance was 38 Volvos and 26 Saabs in attendance. This year’s meet will be larger so please arrive early for parking next to the XXX Drive-In restaurant before 11:00 AM and then dine on some great food from the XXX Drive-In menu. After the fun we had at our Osoyoos meet in September 2002 we decided to do it again this year. The three day meet will be held in Osoyoos, BC, located at the south end of the Okanagan Valley, on the weekend of September 10 to 12, 2004. For the information of our American friends, Osoyoos is just 5 miles north of the border from Oroville, Washington. That's about 220 miles north-east of Seattle on some of the most beautiful roads in the Pacific North West. For those unfamiliar with the Okanagan Valley it is renowned for its fruit orchards, wine vineyards, recreational lakes and sunny weather.

DAY TWO (Those who have to go home can travel from Lilloet to Lytton and home on the Fraser Canyon Highway 1.)
